I think it's time for bed

We are all very exhausted after a travel packed day. After the hour and 1/2 water taxi everyone was ready to check into our rooms and enjoy the moment and soak in the surroundings. After a quick recharge we walked down to Holy Cross School and ended up running into Lydia, our volunteer coordinator. It was great to hear all the positive things going on at the school and in the community. This week is going to be a great week for us here.

We went and had a great dinner at Caliente, and the youth tried for the first time conch ceviche...they really liked it. I am thrilled that they are having a great time and enjoying new things. We had a round robin of "highs and lows" of the day and they were having a hard time saying that anything was a low part of their day. There were so many high points!

So, after starting the day with a 5am meeting at RDU

, our bellies are full and we are all exhausted. We are calling it a night! See you all tomorrow from Holy Cross!
